بدأ نادي ابن ماجه الصيفي والمقام بمدرسة ابن ماجه الابتدائية بحي الجامعيين باستقبال الطلاب المستفيدين من الخدمات المقدمة داخل النادي وذلك اعتبارا من يوم السبت الموافق 1/8/1432هـ حيث تم تصنيف المشاركين بالنادي حسب المراحل الدراسية ، إذ تم توزيع طلاب المرحلة الثانوية إلى اربع أسر هي : الرعيلة / المغواة / مشار / الكشرية
والمرحلة المتوسطة إلى أسرة واحدة هي أسرة توارن
وطلاب المرحلة الابتدائية أسرة الأشبال وصل عدد الطلاب المسجلين في النادي إلى 190 طالب وعدد المترددين يوميا إلى 120 طالب .
يتضمن البرنامج اليومي على فعاليات متنوعة حيث يبدأ البرنامج الأسري من الساعة الخامسة عصراً حتى السادسة حيث يبدأ (الدوري الرياضي) من الساعة السادسة وحتى صلاة المغرب ويشتمل على دوري لكرة القدم ودوري لكرة الطائرة ، وتتنوع الفقرات بعد صلاة المغرب كل يوم حيث يوم السبت المهرجان الرياضي ويوم الأحد دورات تدريبية ويوم الاثنين نشاط ثقافي بالتناوب مع النشاط الاجتماعي ويوم الثلاثاء منافسات المنتدى ويوم الأربعاء يوم الختام والتتويج ، ويتخلل هذه البرامج فقرات متنوعة من قصائد شعرية وأناشيد وطنية
كما أقيمت خلال هذا الأسبوع العديد من الدورات حيث أقام الدكتور رشيد الشبرمي دورة التفكير الإبداعي ودورة فن حل المشكلات والوعي الذاتي للأستاذ نايف القرناس ودورة في الإسعافات الأولية أقامها الهلال الأحمر السعودي ودورة في الحاسب الآلي أقامها الأستاذ منيف عيد السلماني وسيكون هناك استكمالاً لهذه الدورات خلال الأسابيع القادمة , في نادي ابن ماجه الصيفي المتعة والإثارة .
