اقامت مدرسة الغافقي الابتدائية يـوم الاربعاء الموافق 12 / 2/ 1434هـ اليوم المفتوح الأول في الفصل الدراسي الأول تحت اشراف رائد النشاط / مبارك مسلم العازمي وقد شارك في الاحتفال طلاب المدرسة ومعلميها ومديرها الاستاذ / سعود محمد الظاهر والعديد من أولياء الأمور والزوار الكرام وقد تضمن اليوم المفتوح عدد من الفقرات كلمة الطلاب التي القاها أحد طلاب المدرسة وكذلك بعض القصائد ومسابقة اللغاز والمسابقات الثقافية والعديد من الألعاب الرياضيه وفي نهاية الحفل قدم مدير المدرسة للمتدرب زياد براك الحامد شهادة شكر على ماقدمه خلال تدريبة بالمدرسة في الفصل الدراسي الاول ثم بعد ذلك وزع مدير المدرسة الجوائز على الطلاب المتفوقين وجماعة النظام بالمدرسة وكذلك الطلاب المنتظمين دراسين بالمدرسة
بالإضافه الى سحب على (تلفزيون بلازما) مقدم من إدارة المدرسة على جميع الحضور وقد كان صاحب الحظ السعيد من نصيب الطالب محمد سعود الظاهر
